ok still not matching up.

hey guys i have the aem wideband uego kit and i cant seem to match the afrs from the gauge to tunerstudio or megatune. it makes tuning a little bit annoying. i have my wideband grounded to where the ms is grounded to. is there anything else i should do to make sure its seeing the same voltage?

Are you sure you calibrated the uego to the right 0-5v output, and the MS to work with that 0-5v output?

I don't know. I would assume the AEM has 2 0-5v outputs... 1 linear and 1 not. If the linear one doesn't work try the non-linear one.

I am no familiar with TunerStudio, but I always uses these gauges when I do a Megasquirt installation. In Megatune, it is the Linear 30-42xxx calibration.

Alright. In that case there must be a voltage offset still, or the calibration is not loading properly.

How far off is it?

its off about .7 to 1.0 leaner than the gauge.

actually the guage harness comes with a 0-5v wire and a wire you connect to a serial pin. is this the two outputs you are talking about?

I was talking about the 0-5v wire. Most other widebands I've seen come with a 0-5v wire and a 0-1v wire, and both can be programmed to output whatever you want.

It really just sounds to me like you've got a ground offset between the MS and the wideband.

So go over for me again how you have everything grounded?

I'm using the relay board so I have that ground going to motor and the ground from the wideband going to the same point on the motor. I also have a ground running all the way back to battery ground post coming from the same point on the block.

Maybe try grounding the wideband on the relay board?

Again, unless the calibration for that controller is just plain wrong, the only thing that can cause this is voltage offsets between the wideband and the MS.

IF you know the calibration and it's a linear calibration, you can try hand-entering it in MegaTune or TunerStudio.
