Need help setting up autotune
My car is currently set up with megasquirt, and it was tuned originally by a friend extremely experienced with ms. Its been a few years since it was tuned, and some small things have been changed that affected the tune. Is there an easy way to setup my laptop to autotune it using the maps set originally by the guy that originally tuned it?

Autotune implies feedback so the first thing you need is a wideband oxygen sensor.
I do not suggest using innovate LC-1 (and they were removed from sale for a period of time). I also do not suggest AEM gauge style sensors or the innovate gauge sensor as I believe they may be the same design and also have problems.
I personally use an NGK PowerDex with my old bosch sensor from the innovate kit (have to re terminate the plug with an NGK plug). I still have the NTK sensor brand new to use once my bosch sensor dies. The great thing about the NGK kit is it can use the cheap bosch LSU sensor, or the better NTK sensor (NTK is more expensive).
I personally would buy one again, or consider another non innovate brand (unless you have the $$$ for an LM2).
Next thing you need to do is decide whether you want to use a windows computer Megatune + Megasquirt 2 + Megalogviewer, or you want to use Tunerstudio + pay the registration fee, which is probably worth the $65 fee to unlock it. Regardless of it no longer being a free/cheap solution it is very good software.
If you have a Megasquirt1 brain inside your megasquirt case it is time to upgrade to at least megasquirt 2.
The next thing you need to do is fill your target table, which is very difficult. The autotune target needs to reflect what the engine wants, not what you think the engine wants (or even worse what someone on the internet told you what your engine wants haha).
If you wander over to the single turbo section there is a recent thread about quality wb02 sensors (where I was convinced to buy the NGK kit). There is also a thread about EGT sensors which other experienced tuners use (such as Howard Coleman and rotorpsi1).
This adventure is probably going to cost you as much (or more) as you paying for 1 tune but you will then be building skills to never pay again (possibly tune other peoples cars after you get 5-10 years under your belt).

I already have the wideband and everything setup. For now I am keeping the ms1. Once I get back home and have all my tools, I may switch to ms2. Basically I'm just looking to do a quick tune to get it running how it was last time it was tuned.
