Laptop Crashed
As the title says My laptop crashed and I lost the ability to even boot in safe mode and was unable to do anything but start-over. Please don`t bash me for my failure to run Ghost and back up my files. I know I`m an idiot for sure.
My biggest loss is the collection of .msq files I had assembled over the last year.
They were my biggest resource after the forum for learning and setting up my MS1
If you guys want to share with me files that you have used both good and bad I`ll be sure to back every one to disc when I get it so I don`t put myself in this position again. Please share it will be greatly appreciated. I`ll take both NA and turbo files.

Last resort was a system restore disc which got the computer up and running again but not without loosing everything.
I`ll take any .msq files to rebuild the archive I had before this happened.

David, go to Besy Buy, Micro Center, or some other store where they sell computer parts. They make external cases for laptop hard drives. You can remove your laptops hard drive, put it in an external USB case, attach to a desktop PC and copy off the files you need. From there, burn them on to a CD or DVD depending on their size. THEN wipe and restore your lappy.
I just hope you get this before you wipe the lappy.

The spiking issues, have been slight rpm/advance spikes (seems only over 100kpa), which I had attributed to noise, but I found a thread on the msextra site (http://www.msextra.com/viewtopic.php?t=22670) which suggests there may be an issue with 029T and prior code.
