Hey guys, its been awhile since I was last on here. Had ms1 working well on a fc 13bt, driven over 10,000k's, been to 2 drift days and got a max of 190 kw's atw out of it.
Today I got my ms2 chip and modified the second vr to ms2 spec and connected the output to js10. Burnt the new firmware: ms2extra_2.1.0rc1_20090505 to it and modifed megatune.
The problems:

I'm using a usb to serial (prolific) that has worked flawlessly with ms1, however it works for about 5 seconds in ms2 then switches off then on agin in cycle. I've played around with the settings (buffers to 0 and stop bits etc) any ideas on making it stable?

Secondly after importing ve, spark etc from ms1 I got the car started but I've got random accel kicking in? see the datalog. Anyideas?

I dont know about the usb to serial cable, but accel enrichments are based on a percentage/second in MS2 instead of voltage/second for MS1, so you'll need to revisit the acceleration enrichments and change the threshold and actual enrichments. Basically, all of your V/s numbers will need to be multiplied by 15 to 20 or so as a first cut to get to %/s
