IAT-based air density correction doesnt seem to work

I'm using MS1, code version 029y4, and have been trying to get the IAT-based correction option of the coolant-corrected air density portion of code to work, and so far it seems to only reference the coolant temperature, regardless of which option is selected.

How can I get this to work, since after long drives the IAT sensor can become very heat-soaked, especially if I turn the car off and start it again soon (such as stopping for gas etc).

I've never had an issue getting it to work, so I'm not sure what's going on with your setup.

Post an msq maybe?

I'll post an MSQ when I get home. It does work, but it always references the coolant temperature, not the intake air temperature, regardless of what the setting is.

I've been trying to test it by warming the car up (so CLT=85C or so, IAT=27C ish), and letting it idle, and then changing the correction for 27C to 140%. Even after saving and burning this to the MS, the AFR doesnt change at all. If i change the correction for 85C, it does have a direct affect on the AFR.

I havent gone in and changed the gauge value from [cltgauge] to [iatgauge] yet since I was under the impression that this only changed the display, not the actual operation of this bit of code.

Here is the msq file. Right now i've set the car back to using a CLT-based enrichment with the appropriate numbers, since that seems to be the closest I can come to getting it right for now, but this is set up in the same way that I was trying.

sorry, got sidetracked writing code and forgot to check it out. I'll take a look as soon as I get a chance.

Has anyone else noticed that the IAT correction seems to only reference coolant temp, regardless of the settings?
