Changed to ms2/extra now car wont start
First off sorry for all the questions, this is all just very new to me .
I was running the standard ms2 firmware. It was giving me problems so I changed to ms2/extra. I loaded everything properly from the site and loaded the firmware onto the ms. Everything looked to be working fine so I entered all my previous settings and set it all up to what looks right. My problem I think lies with the crank pulse table. The ms2/extra table is in % pulsewidth while the standard software was in milliseconds. The car would start well on 9 milliseconds cranking pulsewidth at 60 degrees which is the average temp around here at the moment. So how would i convert that 9 ms into percentage on the new firmware? From what ive read its a percentage of my upper req_fuel. My req_fuel is at 8.4 so to achieve 9ms id have to run about 110%. But the default value at 60 degress F on ms2/extra is around 250% which is much higher. It said on site to start with the defaults but if what I said before is true it would be much to high and would flood my engine(which it seems to be doing). I dont even get a hint that it wants to start. So am i correct and I should use around 110% as a starting point?
Also something that has been bothering me is my req_fuel. I want to be sure its in the ballpark. I have attached a picture below of my settings, does this look right? As you can see in them im using 4x550cc injectors. The engine is bridgeported, does this mean my req_fuel must be any different from a stock engine? What would I adjust in the calculator to compensate if this was the case?
Also can I use the VE generator with my VE table if im using alpha-n. Atleast for a basic starting point?
Thanks
