Vinyl Sticker (black, shiny) - to place over license plate holder bulge on 99 spec FD front bumper plastic. Intended to give the illusion that formed bulge is actually a bolt on license plate holder. Peel and stick sticker is made of durable 3M Scotchcal (TM) Marking Film. Two pieces for repeat application.
Price is in US$. Includes shipment by mail (in Canada and "Lower 48")
Price reflects that this a prototype piece.

There is a bolt on for the 1995 RHD that looks very similar.
To me the molded in plate holder looks out of sync with the design. I am not alone.
There are many examples of "shaved" 99 spec bumpers.
This is a less drastic way.
And it is reversable.

Shaved is way better. Just don't run a plate.
If you need a plate in the front, then there is no reason to get a plateless bumper. It doesn't make sense to make it appear that the bumper is shaved and then stick a big plate on it. Makes it look like an afterthought, which is why the OEM molded it in.

I am not sure we know what the OEM was thinking, but it is so far off Mazda's design discipline that it looks like bureaucratic interference to me.
Like the "5 MPH" bumper rule.
99 front bumpers are sacred. Shaving them is sacrilege.
I think more jurisdictions require front plates than don't.
