It does seem that the car is fast, but I as well have a problem with him shutting down so quick. It is very clear on the video that the FC pulled rather quickly but soon after the vette matched acceleration. From the looks of it, seems that the vette would have passed him given a few more seconds.

Yeah, after you saw him reeling you back in. God forbid someone fall asleep at the start of a "race".

This is what I and MANY others deduct from your vid:

-You launched when he wasn't really expecting a race.
-You topped first and went through about half of second before he realized the two of you were racing, meanwhile you're pulling car lengths on him.
-You're a safe distance ahead before he really bites. I've heard enough LSX's to know when they are really being pushed. At this point you get a little scared so you through the hazards when the headlights close in a little.

Think of it as a ricer fly-by from a stop. I can kill a Lingenfelter in the same manner. It'd still make me a douche.

 

This reminds me of when I raped my buddies 77 corvette with an electric golf cart, he had his car on the private road that led to his garage and I was in the yard and pulled up next to him, I beeped the horn on the kart 3 times and went for it, before he could even move his car I was down the street and around the corner........

Now that I think of it, he was riding in the kart with me and his car was parked..... my kill is still as legit as yours.

Good kill. It seems you have your car dialed in and you know how to shift. Given the time in the two gears you kicked the crap out of the Corvette. No complaint from me and the guys in the vette even said, "can you believe that thing, geesh." Judging by the upward pitch of the guy talking he had the sound of embarrassment.
