Very interested in that wing. I think the manufacturer is in Socal (according to Shine). They talked about getting their mold, but nothing has ever happened.

I think that wing is perfect. Not too low, not too high and wide enough for the GT-AD kit. I would be nice if it bolted into the factory holes though.

 

I prefer a high mount for track purposes.

 

That just has to do with the brackets which Im sure they could make differnt sizes... But do you like the overall shape of the wing?

Well, that wing is just a replica of the amemiya wing, so i am fine with the shape. I am only concerned about the strength and mounting.

 

Has my order been changed to include the hood?

 

We are not doing the final production yet so we can definitely change your order according to your preference. Right now the factory is finishing up the sample kits will be shipping them to us once the other parts we ordered are finished.

Once we confirm the fitment and quality from test fitting then we will start the final production.

Anyone else into that GT wing? If this is all the interest there is, it probably wont go anywhere.

 

So uhhh.... Any news? Was looking for a mid to late August delivery as discussed, and we are past the mid point with no news for 2 weeks.

 

We were actually aiming to finish the sample units by August, not the production units. Due to the a customer special ordering gapped fenders, we took extra 20 days to complete his fenders, so the factory is just finishing up the two sets of sample. That customer ordered a set of sample units so that he can make it to sevenstock and we made it clear that we will not be able to guarantee the fitment since we have not gotten time to test fit it yet.

We made one set all carbon fiber sample and one set FRP with gapped fenders. Once these arrive, we will have to test fit it and quality check. Once we confirm the fitment and quality, the production will start. Sorry if we confused you about the ETA but we are taking the precaution and time to ensure the quality so that our customers do not have to worry about the parts not fitting correctly.

 

It says right in my Paypal notes of the deposit I sent that I was expecting middle/end August delivery, in order to make it to Sevenstock also. I have the PM's still discussing the time frame if you want to see them.

 

We first would like to apologize for this matter. We did not contact you individually even though we should have. We had a delay due to several customers requesting a gapped version fender so we had to take the extra 20 days for modifying and creating additional molds for the fenders.

As of the new time frame, the kit can be delivered to the buyer before early September only if you agree to receive sample condition kits which means we will not be able to guarantee the fitment since we do not have time to test fit the sample kits before they get to you. As of the sample kits, we only received one request for sample kit order, that's why we only produced two sample kits. One for our test fitting and the other one is for that particular customer.

Again, we are very sorry for the miscommunication and we will try our best to assist you in resolving the issue. Please let us know what you think!

 

So what is the new time frame?

Fenders were never part of the package I wanted, and I was hoping to have all this before Sevenstock. But if that isn't possible, then what is the new projected ETA?

Sorry about the delay and we know it has been a long wait. But we just want to make sure everything fits good before we release it so no hassle will be passed on to the customers.

The new ETA really depends on the fitment of the sample kits we will be receiving in a week or so. If we assume the sample fits good, then the new ETA should be around mid October and we will be taking specific order details from every individual buyer right after the results of the test fit are available.

Gaijin Samurai, we are waiting for the sample units to arrive right now. So pretty much waiting period. We will post fitted pics as soon as the samples are test fitted so bear with us here.

Jacob, exactly what I was looking for, I know there's ppl out there want this wing so lets get some head counts.

i think we should make a new thread, not everyone is looking at the Amemiya bodykit, so they wont see the GT wing possibility. Also I wanted to know, since im on the AD9 hood list as well.... what is the deposit?
