I know. I'm not saying hurry up or anything. Just wondering if there were any pics of them building/molding the kits.

Sorry for the late reply, been pretty busy lately.

The factory usually does not like taking progress pics since they are always busy. We will get them to take some pics if they could. But of course, we will definitely be able to get some pics once the sample is done. Sorry again for the waiting but this project does require some time due to the amount of molds involved. Thanks!

That's cool. My wheels aren't coming in to Sept now anyway. haha So I'll have this nice new wide body in August-ish that I can't even put on until then.

This front diffuser that works for the 05 bumper is the one I'm talking about.
If it affects how fast my order will be done. You can add me on for a CF hood too.

Would there be a problem if I wanted to change my order? Not cancel. Just change.

I'm starting to fall on hard economic times...

Sorry everyone, I have been really busy lately and falling behind on the emails and pms. Give me couple days to reply to all of your requests. Thanks a lot!

eoph, yes, that is the one we are making. The hood will be the last to be done but it should not affect your order too much since the entire project will be completed and shipped to us all together once everything is done at the factory.

Jaiyurai, yes, you can change your order but please understand that the deposit is not refundable so you will not be able to cancel your order. Thanks!

HARD2B, I will email you the list either within today or tmr. Sorry for the delay!

MotoTek, just FYI, we promised an additional discount for those who send in deposit before our samples are completed. Just so you know, if you wait, you will not be getting that discount.

Update:

Right now, the factory is finishing up the last couple molds and starting the production on the sample parts. Since some customers have mentioned that they prefer the front fenders with the gaps, here is the current status. Our mold does not have the gap yet since the original RE-A kit does not have the gap. The factory will need at least 15-20 days to modify the mold to obtain the gap. What I mean by modify is they will have to produce a set of sampling fenders with the current mold then modify the sampling fenders to obtain the gaps then make another set of molds out of the newly modified fenders.

So we would like to get some opinions from our customers and see if you guys still want the gap. If so, then the whole process will have to be delayed by at least 15-20 days.

Please let us know what everyone thinks! Thanks!

Sorry about that, forgot to provide more details on that. Here, notice the gap on the front fender?

This picture below shows the version of RE-A kit we got. Clearly, there is no such gap.

Just as a suggestion, I think the customers should just create the gap on their own as it wouldn't be that difficult. I'm sure that is what RE-A does.

It won't be as easy as just cutting a slot since simply cutting away material will make the piece deform and weaken it dramatically. What we will have to do to achieve this will be extending the back by adding more material to make the face with the slot thicker, that's why it requires another set of molds to ensure the consistency of every part.

It seems like we will have to offer both options then. We will work it out with the factory if the cost is not too much more.

The deposit is $500 for package purchases, but if you are only buying one item, let's say the hood, then you can just send in $200 as the deposit.

ok well... what i think should happen right here would be to ADD 1 more item, since we have a full re-amemiya body kit ready, the hood as an addition all we need is the GT wing.... i know its not the easiest thing to do but I was thinking. Since there is already a feeler GB trying to figure out if its any worth to buy..... I think it really is, i mean if your a 7 lover, and you see the amemiya factory cars he pulls out. THERE BEAUTIFUL....so i wanted to know if it were a possibility to make or add the RE-AMEMIYA GT WING, in my opinion the GT-II wing is the nicest one of all!

tell me what you think.

here is a picture of the GT WING i am talking about.

Sure, we have actually been thinking if we should add this option.

Here is some thoughts. If we are going to make the wing, it will be something with similar size as RE-A GT wing instead of the small ones like APR's. We will look into the designs of RE-A and see if we could do any improvements to it. The price will be around $800-1000 depending on the amount of people interested and the final design. Just throwing this out here to see if there really are people interested.
