Kevin is a straight up guy.. And what I'm about to say might not make some of you at ease but hope it will make sense a bit.

I've had extensive conversation with Kevin and he DOES have a main job that's priority to being a vendor here. And far as I know, that job requires him to travel to other countries.. I'm not sure how many of you traveled abroad for a job, but some requires so much time on and off hours, you might not get on email... or phone.

I know he had an issue with a batch he received from his supplier and he's waiting on another batch.. Lets all be bit more patient with him..

 

I will add that I got a big box from Kevin on Wednesday - but it was his Mazdaspeed GTC front bumper. So, I know he's still shipping some stuff.

He'd just do his business a favor by posting a little update on this site.

 

no offense deals gap rotary rally i'm sure kevin is an good person, but like another poster said, if he can email one person, he can post up a little update at least say still out, not go another month without saying anything. as for being patient for a group buy that started early this year, never rushed him or asked him to hurry up, I think is being pretty patient.

 

Well good news. I received a fedex tracking number and my package has been picked up by FEDEX!!

It is scheduled for delivery to me on friday so I will post some pics!

 

I would have thought that carbon interior panels were a sore subject for Phil

These have come out nice from what I can see in the pics. I will be down for a set if a complete RHD set is made.

whats the status of the FD carbon fiber group buy still waiting for a response are you guys shipping out any? out of the ones who sent in the deposits only one person has has gotten a response and supposedly shipped out to him. what is going on? considering I was the one who got kevin to start the group buy how come I was not informed or anyone else for that matter, that its ready for shipping. no word from kevin or anyone for almost 2 months now had to find out from a fellow group buy vendor about this.

I do have one complaint so far and it is the passenger door piece. It is made fore JKL's door "grip" not the stock one so I had to modify my stocker to get it to work. Too me about 30 minutes but I was going slow to make sure it worked right.

There are 34 little defects in the weave pattern on the center console piece. Kevin told me about ti before it shipped and asked it I want to have it replaced and I told him no because I am putting a shift boot over it anyway.

 

That is 3-4 not 34 lol typo

Kevin is finally answering me, dont know why he doesnt just contact the rest. he has the kits in stock ready to ship.

 

Hope you get all your stuff, i've been fallowing along this thread you've been waiting a long time.

 

He has contacted a few people but they have not responded... As stated kits are in stock awaiting final payment and shipping...

it's a confidence thing. The lack of communication has really killed it. All it will take is a few more folks getting kits and showing that they've got them. Even though Kevin just sent me a big box no less than 3 weeks ago (MS GTC Front End), I'm still hesitating to pull the trigger here. There's still a nagging worry in the back of my head because I've seen a similar scipt too many times that has ended badly.

But... all that said, I've just convinced myself to send in the remainder and see what happens. The economy runs on confidence. So... don't kill it...

Just to let everyone know that I have got a hold of Kevin over email, and just sent my final payment.

I got good news and I got bad news.

The good news is that I got my package from JKL Today!

The bad news is that I inexplicably got two silve pieces amongst the black carbon fiber pieces. I've sent Kevin an email to correct. Will keep you guys updatd.

Ack! I'm sure Kevin will take care of it. Just don't like the additional frustration.
