Limited Production?
Just got an update from the factory, they are in the middle of completing the mold. Since we want to preserve the original GT-C front bumper we got from Japan (it's a rare piece since Mazdaspeed discontinued it long time ago), we are making two molds for this project. First mold of the exact original, and then we use that to make a new bumper and apply all the mods onto that one and make a new mold of the final version. So it is taking a little longer than usual. We are expecting to see the sample finished by 1-2 weeks from today. I will keep everyone updated once new info is ready.
So we have made the following decisions on this project:
This Damian's race version modified GT-C front bumper will be offered in a limited quantity. We have not decided on what the quantity is, but most likely only around 15-20. So get them while you can. After this GB, no more of this bumper in the US. We might release some to countries outside of US through our partnershops.
On the other hand, we will also be offering an exact replica of the original GT-C if anyone is interested since we already made the mold anyways. The price will be around $50 cheaper than the race version depending on how many orders we get.

Why the limited production of the "race version">?
If you are racing your car, you can go through 2-3 bumpers per season... (especially when learning)

I was thinking the same thing Kevin, since Iam also planing on tracking my car as well, and Iam just geting started (rookie) so yea it's going to mess up a bit 
, buying on other maybe 2 more since its a limited edition front bumper. But I like that idea making a few xtras for the original buyers, Iam with that

yep, just let us know whenever you guys need another one, they will be on a made to order basis, and we will provide a little extra discount on it when you purchase the second or maybe third one.

We are very open to suggestions from our customers. We like to listen to what you need and what you like, so if anyone else have suggestions, please don't hesitate to share with us. Alright then, for now, let's see how many people are actually going to drop in on this GB. If we do get more than 20 buyers, we will try to meet as many customers' satisfaction as possible.
We will then decide on what to do next with the rare factor.

I have a stupid question that maybe I missed some where. Is there an exact price yet or is it still $500-600 for this bumper? Also another stupid question (and I'm not trying to hurt anybodies feelings) but can't you get this bumper from Pettit Racing for $600 and isn't that a really good quality one? (This question does NOT apply to the people getting the modified version obviously) But I'm actually asking this because I do NOT know. I'm not trying to be an ***. Is there something wrong with the Pettit version? Is it not available anymore?
I ask because I now don't have the money for this bumper when I did a year ago when Shine was supposed to do it. I want one but I'm not sure how long JKL will make these available and I know Pettit has been around forever.

The price is still $500-600 because we want to provide as big of a discount to the buyers as possible so we want to see how many people actually order this bumper so we can set the price according to the order quantity.
Pettit Racing's version is made of regular FRP and is the original version GT-C. The major differences between ours and theirs are our bumper will be much more flexible, our bumper will be more efficient with all the mods suggested by Damian, and our bumper will be cheaper since Pettis sells their bumper for $600.
Quality-wise, I don't know how good the Pettit one is but I can guarantee that ours will be one of the best versions of GT-C that you can find in the market. We use the original Mazdaspeed GT-C nose for the mold so we will provide a good fitment and better quality.
As I have mentioned before, we are offering both Damian's Race Version and the original GT-C version. Even if we will not continuously offer the Race Version, the original version GT-C will always be available from us, and it will be made of flexible FRP as well.
