i am torn between this and 99 spec front. i dunno what to do!

 

I have a good hunch, but don't take my word for it, that JKL is obviously going to produce the bumper, and probably get their lenses from 2Dperformance (Damian & GooRoo's company). The lenses I have not used personally, but seem to be great quality. You have to think of what's available and how it will be put to use. If max cooling performance is what you want, then I'd definately go this route over the 99 spec.

Damian and JKL have been working on making this bumper the ultimate track bumper (making every aspect of the bumper USEFUL). It also looks REALLY GOOD. Damn I sound like I work for them...HAHA! Maybe I'll get asticker or something (wishful thinking) haha!

We are actually going to custom order these lenses from a factory that makes polycarbonate/glasses auto parts since we really want everything to be a good quality and perfect fit. But if you guys have any suggestions then we might consider ordering from other company. (The cost might be higher than we custom ordering these from factory)

Let's get some air BUMP!!!!!

 

Just got an update from the factory, they are in the middle of completing the mold. Since we want to preserve the original GT-C front bumper we got from Japan (it's a rare piece since Mazdaspeed discontinued it long time ago), we are making two molds for this project. First mold of the exact original, and then we use that to make a new bumper and apply all the mods onto that one and make a new mold of the final version. So it is taking a little longer than usual. We are expecting to see the sample finished by 1-2 weeks from today. I will keep everyone updated once new info is ready.

So we have made the following decisions on this project:
This Damian's race version modified GT-C front bumper will be offered in a limited quantity. We have not decided on what the quantity is, but most likely only around 15-20. So get them while you can. After this GB, no more of this bumper in the US. We might release some to countries outside of US through our partnershops.

On the other hand, we will also be offering an exact replica of the original GT-C if anyone is interested since we already made the mold anyways. The price will be around $50 cheaper than the race version depending on how many orders we get.

 

put me down for a modified one. if i am gonna get this bumper, might as well go with the improved version
