Saved a '79 RX7 from an Idaho field

NICE! The family hook-up is always a great way to score a cool car.
On my way to work this morning a clean, dark blue FB pulled up next to me at a stop light. I thought man that engine doesn't sound right. When he left the stop light i realized the car was packing a V8 with a manual transmission. By the time I cleared the intersection, that little blue RX7 was halfway down the next block. I could tell from the sound of the engine that he was just off idle and short shifting at less than 2000 rpm. No drama, just effortless acceleration.
That sealed the deal for me. I got distracted by the novelty and cool sound of my 12A but seeing that swapped FB brought me back to the reason I bought the SA in the first place. I wanted an affordable, super light car that is stupid fast. My SA is going to get a Ford 302/T5 swap as soon as I can get all the parts together.
