Prospective Rx7 owner from SLC, Utah
Thought I would just introduce myself as i've had questions run through my mind before purchasing the 93 FD rx7 i am considering. I am new to FD's but not a rotary newbie. My name is Stefan, and I am a rotary addict. Currently own an 04 rx8, owned for about a year, and love it! i'll post this link (http://www.ksl.com/index.php?sid=0&n...iew&ad=3724869) which is the ad for the car i am looking at. Any tips or advice on purchasing this clean rx7 will be appreciated. I hear there's a lot of great guys on here and look forward to talking with all of you.
I have done my research on purchasing a new rx7, so I am somewhat familiar with common issues, performance, engine layout and operation. But again, any and all tips are much appreciated.
I was also curious about how much the FD rx7 has increased in value over the years. I can obviously look up the current value of a vehicle, but what did you guys pay for your rx7's when you purchased them. I'd like to see a projected value for the next couple years, just out of shear curiosity. (I am not going to sell it in a few years, i want to keep this car for a long time.)

It does look clean but really wished it showed more engine bay shots. I have this exact model including matching colors and let me tell you if you looking to get real power its gonna cost time, money, sweat and tears. I bought mine in a salvage auction for engine burn, had to start from the ground up in the engine bay but was well worth it. I paid arount 6k for mine. Well good luck!
