hi guys, i just bought an 86 rx7 (i think it's a gxl, there's no badging. power windows, cruise, sunroof, leather, rear wiper ect...) it has 139000 original kms or 86350 miles. was serviced and loved it's whole life. the guy i got it from didn't want to get rid of it but he can't drive anymore. eye problems, a real shame.
i've been looking for something japanese with gears that is rear wheel drive. not too many good choices in my price range. well anyways i found this little baby and couldn't be happier.
oh, did i mention i paid $1600 canadian?! oh ya.
love the rotary engine and the handling, and the snickity feeling of the gear box.
we have some really sweet backroads here in british columbia and i wanted a car precisely to get out of town. now i can get out of town and really enjoy getting there too! i don't actually need a car for the city (vancouver) so you won't find me beating it up driving in circles around town; certainly very rarely.
this is a drivers car and i intend to use it as such.
