Hey guys. my name is Scott and im new to the RX scene. ive wanted one for a long time but was always stuck on 4 cyl or V8 trucks. i bought a 1987 RX7 non-turbo about 3 weeks ago. its was little fixer upper until about a week ago i had a fuel leak and caught on fire. minimal damage was done but there are somethings im still looking for and a sensor or something that im trying to figure out. im a mechanic but a rotary motor is new to me and im ready to get down and dirty with it. ive always wanted one and i got it and im not letting it go. im glad i found this and extremely impressed with everything ive seen. hope to hear from everyone soon.

Whats up! Welcome! If you dont want it to catch on fire from the engine bay i suggest you replace the pulsation damper on the primary fuel rails.
btw this will answer a lot of your questions.

well right now im gonna do the basic bolt ons, intake, exhaust and header. im either gonna lower it on coilovers or 1.5" springs with some body work and wheels. i plan on either doing a 2 gen turbo swap or a 3 gen turbo swap. my goal is to make it a street legal track car
hows it going Vert
had a question about the housing and manifold oil nozzles, do i have to use those or can i bypass them for now and reconnect all that later. just wanted to know and get an opinion before i made the wrong decision and ruin my motor
