New from Pittsburgh

Hey guys, Im Nick. I am new here and new to rotories, (had a friend who owned a turbo-II fc but never worked on it haha) i have started to order the "reliability mods" and soon after will be just basic bolt-ons and possibly and ecu w/ the rest of the supporting mods to go up to roughly 300whp (stock turbo, engine and that if i can), whatever it makes, itll make lol

So any help on what mods will be needed to be safe on say... 400whp, thats what I would want to put on my car to run it at 300whp, so advice will be used and appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I have also been into heavily modifying engines for about 8 years now, I had a 2.2l all motor cobalt running 13.7s then w/ ITB going 13.1s. a eg hatch civic w/ LS turbo 274whp (never ran at track, just a daily lol 40-50mpg around town), another eg coupe w/ fully built b16, 237whp all motor, had an 03 white s2000 with full bolt-ons and a tune (never dyno'd but fun "sunday driver" car). Now I have the rx and love every minute of it haha

Sorry for the big Pictures and long write up. Ive been having trouble all day getting the pics to upload any other way.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Awesome car you have there. You can get 300whp out of stock turbo and engine no problem. Good luck with your project!

thanks for the welcome. I have searched far and wide and still have not found some answers that I have.

What is the stock oil pressures usually stay around?
What are ALL the reliability mods? Plugs/wires, all fluid flushes/changes, ast mod, vac lines... ?
What mods do I need to reach around 300whp?
What will full bolt-ons (intake, fmic/piping, full exhaust and tune) make?
What boost levels can stock turbos run with full bolt ons and tuned? Power output?

I have just gone to my one site that I built 3 other cars from (they give me great discounts on any name brand parts) and my list totaled up to $15,000+ lol guess ill have to choose wisely what to do.

I want to get a nice set of rims, maybe white Work Emotion XT7 Wheel 17x9.0 5x114.3 or Work Meister S1 R Wheel 18x10 5x114.3, those would be front and rear sizes I am looking to get, maybe a 16/17 f/r rim size but id like 9/10 f/r rim width. any info on sizes that fit and dont rub when lowered an inch or so or what offsets work well. I also plan to get a decent set of coilovers, something to adjust and lower the car, it may see drag, drift or auto-x when everthing is done so I need options of adjusting, sway bars, strut bars, ss brake/clutch lines, bushing, camber, lca. Full power performance bolt-ons and supporting mods will be done also, along with reliability mods... any posts as to what to do would be appreciated.

I have found alot of things like interior pieces to replace but I also was looking around, found autometer has gauge pods, does any other place make nice pods for a good price? I would like a leather wrapped 3gauge a-pillar, maybe a single gauge steering wheel pod, im not sure what else they offer

your best bet is going to the 3rd gen section of the site, reading the FAQs and other sticky posts, then using the search function. if that fails you, posting a thread with your questions, or perhaps to start a fix up/build thread to document your work would be in order?
