HI everyone! My name is Eugene, and i bought an fc last saturday. it's a 91 so im told it is an s5? i dont know much about rx7's but i am very much fascinated with the rotary engine. before this fc i have owned a few BMWs (3 e36s and 1.5 e30s). like i said i bought this car on saturday and had to drive form chicago to columbus ohio to pick it up. it is white with 115000 miles on it. the body is pretty clean as it used to be a florida car. the interior is in good shape as well. it has a full racing beat exhaust, light weight flywheel and stage 1 clutch by clutchmasters( havent seen the trans off so going by what the guy told me), also a light weight drive shaft by mazdatrix? along with sway bars from racing beat. the guy i bought it from installed a weird looking electrical fan from a volvo or a vw and wired it to a switch that melted on the way home. but the car did make it back to chicago with me jumping wires to the fan. he didnt secure the fan very well so it rubbed a hole in the radiator. i even got to drive it for 2 days in chicago wich was a blast even though i had to keep adding coolant both days. unfortunately as i was driving yesterday the car started screaming at me trying to let me know that im out of oil. i was hoping it was a fluke but when i opened up the hood i realized that the car was speaking the truth. there was oil all over the engine bay. i belive it is coming form a bad oil cooler like wich i am told is a common issue with these. i didnt take any chances by adding oil and just had it towed home where it is currently sitting. hoep you guys enjoyed my story. im looking forward to seeing everyones cars on here and possibly buying the parts i need to get my beast back out on the road and then later to make it even cooler than it already is
