New from New Mexico- DeltaBlues
New Rotary Owner from New Mexico-
and lovin' it! My '85 RX7 GSL was a rescue mission- headed for the scrap yard with a blown engine- I talked the owner into giving it to me- then I found a complete engine on craigslist for $250- swapped it out, changed some relays, cleaned the tank and feeders, new fuel pump, water pump, etc.
Now, I'm cooler than ice- nice- the engine was out of a low mileage accident victim, and it runs perfect- when I put my foot in it, I surprise all the boy racers in their hondas- with a lovely noise from the Flowmaster-
I'm happy to be here in the club and will be posting with enthusiasm- does anybody need some parts? Used carb, dist., rotors, housings, or the tranny from the donor car

I want the most bitchin' RX7 in the world! You tell me- we'll see-
But I can't find myself on this site without "search"
and how do I post more pictures?

You can click on "DeltaBlues" on any of your posts and it will give a few options (like find additional posts, etc.). You can also go to the top/right of the screen and click on "DeltaBlues" or click on "USER CP" (top/left of the screen) for additional profile options, etc.
You won't be able to edit the first post to add pics, but you can reply to the thread and add pics. You can attach the pics like you did before (post reply --> manage attachments) or you can upload pics to another site (like photobucket) and post the link to the pics here.
If you run into problems, let me know and I'll try to help. You can send me a PM.

NM- We're kinda slow here
Thanks, Kent- that helped a lot- just clicking on DeltaBlues in the upper corner helps a lot- and searching DeltaBlues brings me here-
Should be getting some paint soon- no rust at all on this car- is that common for this gen? Are they made of stainless or somethin'? This is my first Mazda, altho my son had a GLC for his first car- it was cool and built like a tank-
I've had a dozen Fiats- they are really good cars- some of the things on this Mazda are so similar- like the hood release, the 5-speed gear ratios, etc. etc.- I suspect the Japanese had some Fiat examples to study back in the '70s-
