Hi,
I'm Rob Ricci from Englewood, FL. I'm, a retired Mech Engr who specialized in powertrains and transmissions. Have an FD3S that I'm restoring to it's original old school tune after 7 years sitting. All it takes is lots of work and money.
Right now, Mike Lowe (nationally known RX7 racer) from, Sarasota is building the engine with a street port, and oiling / cooling modifications. The engine already had a Turbonetics TO4S w/ ceramic BB's, big Spearco intercooler and all the other good stuff. But it coughed up the orig. engine 7 years ago and has been sitting / waiting.
I just put some TSW Snettertons on with 235/40 18 Nitto555's up front and 265/35/18's on back.
Pics are from Mon (June 28) right before I took it to Sarsaota for the new engine. It will get 1 hr driving time + 1 hr dyno time to set do all the fuel mapping.
I should get bit back in 2 wks.
Best Regards,
Rob
