new guy w/ 87 t2.
Hey everybody. My name is James. Been reading this board for a while and figured I would go ahead and post up.
I picked up an 87 t2 a couple months ago. It runs really strong for the most part. The previous owner rebuilt it a short time ago and I'm still chasing down some minor issues.
Mostly stock. Was rebuilt w/ s4 rotors and s5 housings. Street ported. RA apex seals, Rtek 1.7/720s, s5 turbo. My plans are to get it running great, and enjoy as a street car. Mostly, just wanted something to tinker with and drive around that's decently quick and looks cool. I'm def not averse to getting my hands dirty, but don't have any plans for huge power or crazy mods atm.
Anyway, looking fwd to good tech advice and BS'ing about cars w/ you guys.

Nice car!!! I am also new to the forum. I have a 89 RX7 N/A that was given to me by my older brother. It's not in bad shape but not as clean as yours. I'm thinking about doing the TII swap on mine. Again awesome car I hope that you can get the issues worked out.

Can honestly say i've never seen that color on the road. What part of NC are you? You definately need to go to Deals Gap on the border of NC and TN for some spirited driving someday if you haven't been. By far, one of the best places to drive in the U.S. I spent plenty of weekends up there as it was only 30 minutes from where I went to college.
