New Guy So Confused... HELP!?
Hello all,
I have been interested in the RX7 for long time and have fallen in love with the FD3 model.
I have decided to take the plunge and get my first one.
I am a complete novice when it comes to Rotary's and RX7's and conciquently do not have a clue where to start.
Rather than going out and buying the first good looking car i find i am looking for some help and advice on what i should be looking for.
Being no novice to engine bay's and cars in general i have a rough idea but have no idea about the faults and things to watch out for when buying an RX7. I have a budget of 5K
Thank you all in advance.

Former Moderator. RIP Icemark.
I am not sure where Basingstoke is, however typically for a running FD in reasonable condition you are looking at $10K + in most parts of the USA.
Ones with blown motors are pretty common around the $5k range.
So chances are if you are looking at one for under $10K it will need considerable work, and possibly a new motor.
