New guy with a 13b Miata
Checking in to say hey! My name is Jeff, from MS. I've been lurking for quite a while now, mainly compiling info for my 13b Miata. I'm also a huge fan of FC/FD rx7s, but who isn't really lol.
Don't really have many pics of the car, but here is a few from a recent drift event.

Thanks for all the compliments!
I recently broke my camera, but I will get another this week. The swap is 3/4 the way done at the moment. I've made it a challange to tackle the common problems with ideas that no one else to my knowledge has done. Like Einstein said, "Make everything as simple as possible, but not simplier.
Including the motor, trans, carb, RB intake, OBX Header, custom mounts, FPR, accessories, etc. I'm about 900 into the project. I have parted out the stock motor to make some money back, which I haven't subtracted from the fund.
The old motor went to poop, the bottom end had scaring in the cylinders, and drank oil like gas lol. Also needed to replace the MAF, which was not working well at all. I looked for a solid block to replace mine, and started piecing together some turbo parts, but sadly nothing came up. So I got the itch for some Doritos...
Also I've always been a fan of the 13b, and I think the miata is a perfect chassis to throw a 13b into. My motor is nowhere near stock, 750cfm Carbed Halfbridge, getting a fresh rebuild soon. And my friends are trying to talk me into putting a plate kit and spray a 100shot for when I seldom run it in a straight line.
They are xxr 527 15x8.25 0 offset all around.

Nice!
I used to own an MX5 and loved the chassis (handling) but being a non modified 1.6 it lacked power.
Now I have an rx7 and I can imagine the combination of the light agile chassis with this engine will be a recipe for some serious driving pleasure.
