New to the forums

Hello all!

I have just joined the forums here after purchasing an 87 rx7 GXL. I am located in the Northern Virginia area and have some familiarity with rotaries (my younger brother's Rx8). My goal for my car is to have a well rounded street car that I can take to the occasional track day or autocross. I have HKS coilovers, a full racing beat exhaust system, an Exedy clutch, racing beat sway bars, and BBS LM wheels so far. I am working with Mike and the wonderful people at Rotor Piston Motorsports to build this car, I highly recommend them to anyone within a reasonable drive of Hagerstown MD. I look forward to meeting all the other Rx7 enthusiasts on these forums!

Looks like a really nice and clean car in the picture! Does it have the original paint? The MAZDA decal even appears to be in place on the front bumper!

Thank you! And yes, it is original paint. I am the second owner of this car, and from what I can tell it was definitely garaged for most of its life. The paint and decals are in good condition, the interior is surprisingly fully intact, and the owners manual from 1987 is still in the glove box.

Really does sound like the car was very well maintained! No doubt a time capsule!
