what up yall Im Pat from the twin cities, i purchased my FD almost 2 years ago. I've been in love with the rx7 since I was a freshman in high school, Im 27 now. I didnt really know much bout rotary engines before, but since my purchase I have become an avid reader & learned alot of good info from this forum "still a lot more to learn tho". I bought the car for the all around experience of a beautiful car that can perform on the street, drift, drag, track, "you want some come get some" car. Looking forward to all the knowledge on the forum that I havent been able to access! lol

Thanx Mario, my FD Isnt in the greatest condition but I think I got an alright deal on her. She needs alot of work but hopefully I'll have her lookin/running as good as some of the other members FD's on here. should be a fun build tho. I'm in Hudson WI, and me and my friend both have FDs, There is also an old dude with a mint condition VR in our town too, haven't been able to meet up with him, but he exists! If you ever need any help, let me know!

 

There are a few of us Rx7 guys in the cities too :P we usually meet at Carbones in West St. Paul on Wednesday nights. You should come say Hi some time.

do any of you guys ever go to brainerd? it would be sweet to see a bunch of rx7 flying around the track!

 

Never been up there, last two track times 1986gsl blew one motor (1st time) and one dif (2nd time) I JUST got my car back running after it sat for 5 years. We'll probably take a few rips up there if we can!

 

damn that sux! but thats how the track you either have a great time or a really bad time! what track did you go to?

 

I haven't been to any of the tracks around here I'm getting to rebuild my FC soon so we shall see although I might try running my 1.8t golf if all else fails.

We all just sort of show up around 6ish in our daily's (even in the winter) so if you want to have some greasy food and hang out come on over.
