New to the forum
Greetings. I've been the proud owner of a rotary powered Ferrari Dino replica since 1985. For the last 12 years I have been laboring on a complete rebuild, chassis on up. When I fired up my engine after sitting for that long I was surprised by how well it ran, just sitting in the garage, until it made a horrible noise and I shut it off. I pulled the engine back out and disasembled it to find one of the apex seals blown out in the middle. I have been looking at a lot of the posts in this forum for information and have found a lot of helpful stuff. I believe my rotary is a first gen 13B. I have a Kennedy adapter to a VW transaxle and wondering if that will mate to any of the newer gen rotaries.

damage to housing
The edges of the seal slot are a little rough, and there are some gouges in the surface of the housing. I don't know of a shop near me who could determine if the housing could be resurfaced.
