New FD owner looking to learn about rotaries

Hi,

I've previously built several Hondas and Subarus in the past, so working on a rotary will be completely new to me. I picked up a 93 FD that has good compression, but it intermittently shuts off and sometimes has a surging idle. I'll be spending a lot of time on here reading up on how to troubleshoot rotaries, so I'm looking forward to meeting you all.

Welcome! You came to the right place! We can help you fix what's plaguing the car. Any pictures of the car to share?

I DD'd S2000's for a while and loved them, but I got the FD because I've always loved the style.
