AZ New FC vert owner in AZ

Hello rotary heads! This is my first post on the forum and first and foremost I would like to thank you all for the great site which I would be lost without! I recently aquired my 89 vert in a trade for my much missed V8 s10 rock crawler. (top down cruising greatly eases my pain). I am quickly falling madly in love with this car! I fancy myself quite the "car guy" if you will and have built many a small block, hotrods, and pride myself in the fact that I can do just about anything to a car but paint and sew(no interiors for me) So my excitement to tear into this thing is killing me. The vert is all stock na. I have already purchased (er: stole for $250!) a parts car(89 gtu) that had a turbo conversion started (everything but the tii rear subframe). With the help of the site I have identified the motor as an S5 jdm motor. Have not had the time to compression test but when cranked over sounds good. Both front and rear rotors, all 3 faces sound good, so I am hoping for good housings and irons for a rebuild. It has 720cc secondaries (was told they were venom inj but who knows) and the ecu has a toms chip so I assume it's an n374. The sticker is not legible but has mucho japanese writing on it and I cant find anything about a toms chip in an n370.

My goal is essentially to have a kick ars daily driver to smoke the occasional hon-duh, and just have fun along the way.

So that is me in a nut shell and I look forward to learning from you all as my project progresses and would like to thank you all ahead of time for your help.
