Hello everyone. My name is Dean. I just bought my first 1988 rx-7 FC3C. I love the car. It needs a bit of work, but I'm really excited to have it. I already had my first little adventure with the car too. After I bought it I got about a mile down the road and the thing started overheating! The add coolant light came on and it was making that loud buzzing noise. I pulled over as soon as I could and popped the hood. It took a bit for me to figure it out, but it turns out the thermostat went bad. After we replaced it we added some coolant and bled the air out of the system. It started up great and drove home fine. The coolant light went on for about a second or two during the drive, i'm not sure why though.

I'm looking forward to doing a lot of projects on this car and I already a ton of great information on this site. I'm still new to the rx-7 so you'll probably see me asking a ton of questions. I live in PA, if any of you guys know of any meets in the eastern PA area I'd love to check them out! I'll post some pics of the car later.
