Just Saying Hi

Hi Guys,

Name is Vlad and I am from Adelaide South Australia!! At the moment I own an EVOIX, Civic Type R and I'am currently on the market for a new addition to my shed. So what better to be in there than an RX7, always wanted one and now it's time to get one but I don't know much about them so my last few days on the forum was spent reading and researching all I can about them. Hope I don't annoy anyone with silly questions and I hope I close the deal on an 2000 model RX7 RS

Good choice on the RX7. I have an evo IX as well! What are your plans with the rx7?

Hi Mate

RX7 got me when one of my mates took me for a spin in his 270kw track car!! Now mind you it only had stock Bilstein suspension, some Eibach springs and set of semi slicks WOW man that is all I have to say. The grin on my face was there for weeks than I ended up with two 4wd cars LOL an STi and EVO and don’t ask why not sure there. But I said to myself I have to get an RX7 so stuff it life is too short ;-) so I keep telling myself and my wife LOL

Well my plan is to build a strong street car that I'll be able to take and do few hill climb events. Look wise I love the clean lines of the car so no crazy kits just a set of nice rims. Cops here are a pain anything you do to your car even if you fart in it they slap you with a defect. So everything that goes in it if it’s not practical and not improving the car will not go in.

I am not a great lover of twin turbo setup, even though they might be better for the application that I need it for but still all those vacuum hoses and solenoids it’s too easy to bugger up. Not sure as yet but I'll be rebuilding the engine and going single turbo with some suspension work!! Aim is to try and build a clean street 300kw atw car with good response!! Now I am under the belief that it’s not hard to do that but I suppose you have to do it to comment on it :-)
