Since I couldn't finish the suspension, I installed my new to me Racing Beat exhaust (Thank you Jodeny, it's in like new condition!)

I also picked up a Downpipe, MidePipe, Y-Pipe. After they arrive, I'll send them off for Jet Hot coating. Looks like the Rex will be down for another two weeks. I still need to pick up a Cold Air Intake solution and then I'll slap it together and drive it for the summer.
You might slap it together and pop it with those mods. You are definitely rolling the dice with that many mods on a stock ECU. If it were me, I'd get a Power FC and commander FIRST before opening up your intake and exhaust path that completely, not to mention that your stock motor is over 100K miles. Just a cautious word from the wise. Hate to see you retire her early for your rebuild.... . Be smart with your mod sequence and the car "should" remain troublefree.

Edit: Posted my response without seeing the response above me.... Heed the advice

I am not throwing the mid pipe on till I get an ECU. I read the threads, but thank you for looking out for me!!!! I have the mid pipe as it was a combo from rx7 store downpipe/midpipe and If I'm getting the midpipe coated, I might as well do my down pipe which I will throw in after the rebuild/new tune.

I didn't think intake was bad on stock ECU from several other threads. But, I can wait till I rebuild her and put the Power FC in to do the intake though. I do know the radiator wouldn't hurt sooner than later.

I will note the down pipe is not intended for performance, but because of the reliability mods I read about. The muffler was because I have a hole in my existing muffler. Radiator, because my plastic end caps are getting very dark brownish green meaning they will crack soon.

EGR block off because my EGR just went bad. Y-Pipe, because it's recommend for reliability and I'll have it off to block off EGR. Cold Air, well, I hate the damn stock box and while I have it off, why not leave it off. But, I can wait on that one. Next IS a PowerFC. I just wanted to get as many of the known fail items replaced that I could while I'm in there.

IMO before you buy another thing, you should get a boost gauge installed. I wouldn't put ANY mods on it until I got a gauge, without a gauge you have no idea what your current boost is and the effects of the mods. I would also test fit the downpipe before wasting money to have it coated. The Pettit, M2, Bonez, and HKS dp's normally fit without issues, any other brand is a hit and miss.

Boost and water temp were my first installs. I have a Defi Avanced CR Boost and Water temp with audible alarms set. Water is set to 100C right now.

I've heard they can be hit or miss. I figured I was taking a gamble on the Rx7 down pipe/midpipe combo. I'll test fit like you said before blowing the money on coating. While I'm on a coating bonanza, is it crazy to coat the Y pipe?

On my previous build, I coated everything that I could coat. My only issues were the coating didn't allow the flap to close so I didn't have boost above 4psi. I also had to sand around the bolt holes of the alternator for it to charge. On this build, I’ve coated the dp and catback. I did a trial run on the hf cat and I still haven't taken it back off so I can get it coated . I’m lucky because Jet-Hot http://www.jet-hot.com/ and Calico Coatings http://www.calicocoatings.com/ are both here in NC.

If I plan to run twins any benefit to coating the y pipe? I also planned to do the exhaust manifold and lower intake this winter while she was getting a rebuild.

I appreciate the help RCCAZ 1. I'll hold off on the intake till after I rebuild it just to be safe.

If I get a PowerFC now, do they come with a good stock tune? I don't want to waste money taking it to a tuner till I have rebuilt it and added the mods. Just wondering if the PowerFC's default tune is similar to factory.

Pretty sure they do, but I'll wait for someone else to chime in. Mine has had aftermarket tunes on it for so long I can't recall what comes on the "stock" box anymore. Might want to nose around in the Power FC section of this forum to find a better answer.

It's very clean. Nice FD. And nice color too, not too often you see them in yellow.

still waiting on my replacement pillowball, so I couldn't do much to her this weekend. I did charge the battery after discovering it was dead and fixed my antenna mast. For anyone that may be cheap like me, the mast is the same as the NB Miata. The only two differences are price and the tip is silver instead of black. I saved $20 buying a Miata antenna mast.

Great progress with your build. Interested to see how well the RX7 Store downpipe/midpipe fit. Sweet looking car btw, have to say that the FD has some of the sexiest body lines coming from the factory.
