Hi Everyone,
My name is Patrick, from Ottawa, Ontario. I've always been interested in first gens, and almost bought one on multiple occasions. Finally did!
I got it off someone that was moving and was his chance to sell it. It has a full Racing Beat exhaust headers, pre-silencer and power pulse muffler. Custom cheviot rims, torque stabilizer, 10 speaker stereo with sony cd/usb/aux input deck with detachable face plate(which I will re-wire, looks like a messy install). tinted windows. Rare back seat and rear window louvre. All wheel bearings and brakes have only 10k on them. The owner said he hasn't winter driven it in 14 years and mentionned the previous owner didn't(?) either. The body has literally no rust so it seems that some of these claims are true... To what extent I don't know.
It also came with a bunch of parts, starter, wiper motor, extra rear window, 4 rear lights, original blue hood, etc...
Needs some cleaning, carb rebuild, might need some new vaccume hoses. Also a paint job, the original colour was white, and got painted blue at some point.
Some pics attached.

Thanks!
I like the wing too, except that the previous owner used putty to fill in the gaps, and it's all falling apart now, so I may just remove it(the putty, not the wing). Needs to be repainted anyways!

Thanks!
I'm trying to get the stock gold rims off my buddy's rx7 that's just sitting in the woods
And maybe his seats but I think his interior was burgundy and not black...

I'm looking at all the stuff I need to do to it,
here's an initial list:
-carb clean/rebuild/strip down
-get rid of rats nest if im stripping the carb
-engine rebuild, and check the omp, it's burning (lots)more oil than it should, upgrade oil pump, water pump
-electric rad fan instead of the clutch fan
-clean entire engine bay
-repaint car/remove putty from the wing, etc
-rewire the messy sound system
-suspension, maybe rack and pignion steering conversion(brakes/rotors have 10k on them)
-some cosmetic stuff like the seats need to be replaced from disintegrating foam/cracking leather, and the interior roof is cracked and had been repaired(didn't work)
-High beams don't stay on if you push, but they do work if you pull on the turn signal handle
Not specifically in that order. I'm sure it'll keep growing too.
Looks like I'll have my hands full this winter.
Also applied for the Hagerty classic auto insurance, got quoted for 140/year. Just waiting on the approval

I took them off for now to do a major cleaning, some of the louver screws were hardly even hand tight, I'm surprised some of the screws didn't fall off on the way over to my place.
I'm re-wireing all the sound system since it was a hackjob of old wire and electrical tape, although the front driver's seat is posing a problem. I've searched the forums to how to remove them, although it seems these are bolted right to the floor with some nuts and washers I don't have access to. Any tips would be appreciated.
Attached is a bad picture of the drivers side front left bolt.

Actually it looks like the welds on the bolts on the left side have broken so the previous owner put in some bolts and washers instead of welding then on... awesome
