MI I love my rx7s!

Hello, my name is Katey. I bought an 86 rx7 about 2 years ago, and I just fell in love with it. Last summer, I purchased an 83 to restore. The 86 is my everyday vehicle, and one night I drove it home, and the next morning it wouldn't start. About 3.5 weeks later, it still wont start. I am looking forward to any help or advice that's available. These are the first rotory vehicles I've owned, and I'm still learning. Thanks, and I'm looking forward to any assistance, or chatting.

Welcome! Post some pictures of the FC and FB.

As for the not starting... did you try the deflood procedure? Also check your sparkplug wires and coil wires. I had one came loose and gave me a 1hr headache.

I will definitely post pics soon. I did the deflood procedure twice, and I've checked every plug, wire, coils, I'm definitely getting good spark, I had the engine compression tested and that was good, and i'm getting fuel, but i checked the filter, pump, injectors, the pressure regulator and tps and it's all checking out fine but it still wont start. I don't know where else to look, and there aren't any shops around here that are capable of handling a rotory engine. So, I'm left pondering the timing right now. And that and a bearing are tomorrows project.

It refers to the model of Rx7.

So here in the U.S.:

SA = 79-80 Rx7
FB = 81-85 Rx7
FC = 86-92 Rx7
FD = 93-95 Rx7

hi , you may want to check your fuses in the engine bay , or you may have a bad distributor . Is the motor turning over freely?

If you are getting fuel and spark check the mas air the car will not run or may run porly if a wire has been damaged.
