Hi from Ukraine
Hello everyone!
My name is Ilya and I'm from Kiev, Ukraine
I have one rx8 r3, one rx8 as a project car and I am planning to buy FD3S.
I want to restore one FD and keep it for long.
We have only one or two FD3S in Ukraine and both are RHD.

A true California car will have more emissions related stuff compared to cars from any other state. Although these states are dry and the cars are typically rust free, they also have a lot of sun, so they will also see more sun fading on the paint and interior of the car.
In the southeast, snow and salt on the roads typically aren't a problem, but most of that region has high humidity (could cause rust).
Anywhere that is very close to the ocean could have corrosion due to the salt in the air.
Upper midwest and northeast will probably be worst in terms of rust since those regions see a lot of snow and often will have salt placed on the roads to help with the ice (the salt is very hard on the cars).
It is pretty common for cars to stay in different locations in the country, so you could buy a car from Arizona, but the car may have spent most of its life in Ohio. So, you just don't know unless you have the history of the car.

If you are buying from the US, you are best off with cars the the southwest part of the country. California, Arizona, New Mexico, parts of Texas, etc.
