I've owned 2 RX-7's in the past. My first was an 83-GL and my second was an 80- base model. Those were more than 15 years ago and I recently picked up another one for old times sake.

So now im rockin' an 85 GSL-SE with the 13B and for the most part the car is complete. The biggest issue right now is the turn signal switch was removed (broken?) and instead of replacing it the old owner decided to hack everything up and ended up putting a toggle switch in for the turn signals and a push button for the ignition. The headlights don't seem to work using the push button switch on the dash, but I'm hoping that's just a fuse issue.

The rear window wiper doesn't work nor does the rear defroster. The heater works but not the AC. Oh and the driver's side window leaks water and so does the rear hatch.

So that about all the bad, the rest of the car is in tact and working it seems.

My overall plan is to try and work on the basics of the inside electrical, so I'll be replacing the turn signal switch and getting everything wired back up the way it should be.

Next I want to work on suspension as the drive home from CO to NM, I did bottom out several times and would like to tighten things up. Once those are fixed I'll be moving on to a 13B TT conversion.

I've got MANY MANY questions about the suspension side, so I'll be back to post more on that later. But that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
