CO Here is my amazing introduction!!

Hello rx7club,

Hi, my name is Morgan and I like long walks on the beach, candle lit dinners, and loud nasty cars! HA.

Ok, I am not an RX7 owner as of yet. I do have a love for the rotary motor and am very interested in learning more about this amazing engine. I am a Subaru guy right now and must say that I have loved every Subaru I have ever owned but I will soon be moving out of the snowy state of Colorado and am looking into something without AWD. I must say the FC3S is in my opinion the best looking 7 out there.

I am a bicycle mechanic by trade and an avid cyclist as well. I know, not many cyclist and car enthusiasts.

I hope to learn alot on this board as im sure I will. Also, in my time just browsing before actually registering, I have seen some amazing cars on here. Looks like a really good place to be if into the 7.

I hope this introduction is what the mods are lookin for.

See yall around!

It's exactly the kind of intro we're looking for but you forgot to mention if you insist on kissing on the first date.

So where does the love of rotary come from? As a cyclist, maybe it was having one blast by you on some dangerous curve on the mountain? or maybe it was a movie? or maybe you're eyeing a deal that seems to good to pass up...?

In any case, thanks for taking the time to register and welcome aboard, Morgan!

Mario, Yes, kissing on the first date is mandatory.

As far as where the love comes from, I must say it is the fact that the rotary is yet another non traditional design.

Being a Subaru guy right now I know the boxer motor is very different than any other 4cyl out there.

I could chalk it up to having a obsession with air plane motors seeing as the boxer and the rotary (I believe so anyway) were both originally designed for air planes. Only one flaw with that idea, I really dont give a hoot about air planes nor their motors.

The top always seems to work out just fine. Honestly, I dont see myself strapping a bike to a car that im going to take to the track on a regular basis. I am moving to Tempe in a couple weeks so I will be at Firebird Raceway as much as possible. I can always use the Subie for the bike hauling.

I mainly ride road bikes so I rarely have to drive somewhere just to go ride. I tend to take off from my front door and just go.

Just giving you a hard time Morgan. Hopefully you can find one where the bike rack doesn't come into serious consideration. Lots of really nice cars for sale on this site, built by people that know rotaries. Then again, you wouldn't get lost in the crowd at the track with your bike strapped to the top, Hmmm. You'll like the RX7, Subarus are nice, but there's nothing like the fun of revving up a rotary and zipping into a corner. Welcome aboard.

Thank man. I didnt really take the question seriously but I guess my comment did sound pretty serious. LOL.

I would love to buy a really nice vehicle built by someone that knew what they were doing but I also feel that takes away from the experience of the car. I will more than likely buy some bucket and start digging in with my own hands. Thats the best part of the car is that fact you built it.

Im still tossing around a rotary powered Miata as well. I guess the decision will be made once the cash is in my hand and the right purchase is in front of me.

Thanks for the welcome. I can already tell this board is gonna be fun.
