Hey guys, I wanted to make an update on the progress of refreshing the car.

So far I've
- Fitted BBS LMs
- Fixed idle
- Readjusted TPS
- Fixed air in coolant
- Replaced fans (one was broken)
- Changed all fluids
- Fitted Hawk HP+ pads
- Fitted BLITZ SMIC intercooler
- Fitted Power FC
- Changed plugs
- Replaced left headlight motor

Problems I'm still having
- Headlights go up, but not down
- AC is broken (hole in condensor)
- Oil leak
- Creaking FR brake
- Intercooler piping is a hack job
- Dimming lights when braking (old battery or alternator)
- Dash lights up when brake is pressed and key is out
- Sometimes take several turns of key before starter will spin

Parts waiting for installation
- Silicon vacuum lines/check valves
- Fuel filter
- AFR, Water temp, Boost gauge
- Silicon radiator hoses
- 340LPH fuel pump
- Condensor
- New stock injectors
- New plug wires

After all that is done i'm having it tuned by the only guy who tunes rotaries on power FC on Okinawa. It's going to be a road tune because there isn't a single dyno on Okinawa.

Wow. I just realized that's a lot for only having the car a month and a half with a low skill set for mechanics

That looks freaking awesome!!! I am living in China and every year I am thinking to come over to Japan and finally visit.

Good luck with your beautiful car!

Marc

Nice car, never got stationed in oki when I was in the marines but we did stop there on a meu.

Sucks you can't bring the car back as a whole instead of just pieces but at least you have access to a lot of good companys first hand.
