Hello from Arizona, new to rotary!!
Hello, I just purchased a 1974 Mazda RX-4 from user halfnum.
Currently it does not run.
It has 13b gsl-se motor in it with a 5 speed.
The car stopped running supposedly one day but still turns over. I think its got a bad coil but I dont have the vehicle yet.
I have the title but the vehicle is 4 hours away. I will hopefully have it home by next weekend.

Well its good to know theres some rotary owners in az, but you got to get it up and running cause there just doesnt seem to be that many of us on the road. I own a 93 FD3S and it too, me 5 yrs to get it going good but I finally did. Hope to hear you get it up and running soon. Good luck!

It did take a while but got a full built motor completely redone from head to toes by the boys over at turblown and let me tell you, I took it over to Firebird Raceway and had power to spare. Should be pushing over 600 ponnies on the next dyno tune trip this coming week.

Yeah that sounds like it. Maybe you can give me some more history on it.
Looks like I need to head down to the mesa area when I get it finished.

That would be nice. It's always nice to go down there to warmer weather. Last night it hit -15 degrees and todays high was 18 up here. Yesterday was even colder. Lol. I need to warm up.

Ok guys I need some help. I got the car running today and I took it for a drive down the road. I hit a bump in the road after about 15 minutes of driving the motor died due to the fuse that feeds the main relay blew. So I put in another fuse and it fired right up and drove another 10 feet and died again with the fuse blown again. I then put in a third fuse and as soon as I started cranking the motor over the fuse blew again. So I have blown about 6 fuses now. Everything has power until I crank the motor and then it blows the fuse and won't start. I tried jumping the connection with a wire and the motor started for about 10 seconds and then the circuit opening relay went "eeeek" and smoked and the motor died. Please help! What could be causing this?
