Hello all from Florida
Hey guys,
My name is Paul I live in St. Augustine, Fl just south of Jacksonville. I've been messing with cars for for a few years now and I've made it my career. I work at POWERTEK in St. Augustine and we specialize in going fast, to say the least. My boss is an old school Chevy freak and myself well I'd say more into imports, however I still enjoy the speed and old school styling, I've built many cars some in the 700HP range others just for show, but my personal car is a 78 Datsun 280z, it's a fun little rocket especially since I put a 99' LS1 into it with a T56 (6 Speed). It's running around with about 400HP and weighs in at 2600 lbs. The car is up for sale, because I've got the FD RX-7 bug!! I drove one the other day that a guy locally was selling and I'm hooked, I've always enjoyed the RX-7's but something about it just reminds me of my first car, (built turbo NA Miata) small low and quick it handles great as well, I have no plans of throwing a big V-8 in it but I would like to make a little more power. I will say I will probably have the car by mid this week if things go as planned. It's a red 93' with about 140k on the odometer, it does have some issues, but they're mostly cosmetic. The engine is stock never been touch other than routine maintenance. The car is second owner from 35K miles back in 95' so he's had it almost 20 yrs. paint is fading in some places but interior is flawless!! and drive and runs OK. The odometer and tach look like they caught on fire, they're all like shriveled and they do not work. Oh well just more parts to buy right? haha
Well, so that brings me to why I'm here, I'd like to be able to learn about these cars through your community, I'll post a few pictures for you of my Z and I hope to be a contributing member to this community.

Thanks guys, looks like I'm gonna have to sell the Z before I can pick up the FD sadly the z isn't sold quite yet... So I won't bother with the pics of the FD as that deal may pass by because of the lack of funds. The rims are rota RB's 17x8.5 et 0
