Hello all!
I've been reading these forums dreaming for over 5 years but I just picked up my absolute dream car a few days ago so I decided to finally make an account.
It's a bone stock rust free USDM 93. I'm heavily into NA Miatas and this is not my first rotary in the past I've had an SA and FB but I always managed to sell them before getting them road ready. That being said I have a lot that I'm excited to learn. Currently I'm focused on doing maintenance items before doing any modifications.

you may find the car is better to own in its stock form. maintenance and reliability mods are great and if you stop there, you can have an excellent car that will treat you well for a long time. when you enter realm of mods, things can get silly. you bought a great stock example, it would be advised to remain on that side of things.

Thanks for all of your input! I agree this car has avoided being crucified for 30 years once I've done all the routine maintinence and reliability modifications I will probably do easily reversible suspension upgrades and stop there.

Welcome to the forum!! Definitely a gorgeous RX-7 that appears to have been well cared for. I am with the above in that the car would be best left as close to stock as possible. Suspension upgrades wouldn't hurt though. Do you know any of the car's history?

The car was originally sold in LA and then lived in San Francisco during it's early years. In 2002 at 97k miles it was imported to Canada the engine was rebuilt it stayed in BC until 2012 and was sold and owned by 2 different people in Ottawa. The last owner owned it for 6 years and drove it only a couple thousand miles under his ownership. I imported it back to the US and have started stripping the interior due to the previous owner allowing mice to move into the car. Luckily the wiring appears to all be intact and after I get everything cleaned up and the carpet cleaned it will go back together this week. Currently it has 127k miles and absolutely no rust.

That car has a great history! It's weird how much a lot of cars will travel around the country and in your case, another country all together! Albeit just a hop skip and a jump away, but I'm sure it wasn't easy to get the car imported back into the U.S.
