HI FromEver Introduction

My name is Dillan, But you can call me Ever or From Ever. I'm twenty-one years young and currently attending college. I used to be military and just recently ended my contract and am now attending college.

My first car was a 2004 Lancer Ralliart. After a deployment to Iraq, I came home and bought the car with cash. It was a really amazing car but it was also the first car Ive ever really driven. It was an automatic and it was the start of my love for cars. I installed a CAI and a muffler on the car. I thought it was so cool lol but I really wanted a manual. I decided after 8 months of owning the car that Id look for something manual. I found a 2005 Lancer Ralliart It was red and really something amazing. I felt like I really ran into a secret among cars. The potential of that car was really something that no one could understand. It had great pull and had an amazing sound! I installed a CAI, lightweight under drive pully, slotted rotors, a timing box, headers, and a straight pipe. That car was really something amazing until one day it started having problems. The problem was I was moving and I really needed transportation. I didnt have time to work on the car so I sold the car as quick as I could. I sort of wish I would have held onto the car and fixed it. I feel like I just ran away from the problem.

I bought a 2008 128i BMW. I started learning to drift in the car. It was the first RWD car I've ever driven--Im originally from Hawai`i and that is where my friends would always drift. It was always one thing I've always thought was the coolest thing ever-- I got out of the Army and moved back to Hawai`i. The cars in Hawai`i are in really bad shape and bringing a really nice looking BMW into a town full of junked up cars was a bad idea. A few jealous people scratched up my car and smashed my rear window. I then realized how much it costs to fix anything BMW and that I shouldnt have a beautiful car like that out here. I decided to sell the car but no one in the area has enough money for a car like that. I moved to O`ahu which has countless nice and beautiful cars. I decided I would still sell the BMW and look for something like a 240sx, AE86, or rx7. I found a 1993 rx7 FD and it is seriously the nicest thing Ive ever seen.

I decided I am going to trade my BMW in and get the rx7 FD. Having the BMW I realized how much the cost is to replace anything on a BMW. I also realized you cant work on them yourself. I have a lot of knowledge about cars from friends teaching me. I learned a lot from them but the most I've learned from is the internet. I researched as much as I could on any car that sparked my interest. I dont know a whole lot about cars but buying this rx7 is going to be the start of my real experience. Finally a car I can work on! Not only can I get ahold of a car I can work on but I can also find the time to work on cars now that Im no longer in the military.

I have not bought the car yet but I am currently talking to someone who wants to trade me with a few thousand down. I am very excited and that is the reason why I want to join this website. I want to learn as much as I can about the cars before I start my project. I honestly cant wait! Since I am getting a few thousand down with the trade I was wondering what I should put into it first. From what I read the rotary has trouble cooling down. So I decided to put into heat resistance and suspension.

Anyway thats my story with cars for anyone that cares.
