Fc owner from the UK
Hi Guys.
My names Ash and i've recently become the owner of an N/A RX7 fc.
I've had it about 3 weeks now after swapping my Custom Honda shuttle drift car for it. I'm loving it so far, i haven't driven it much so far as i'm going to do a major service on it before i drive it too far and my belts keep slipping so i'm gonna get myself a Gilmer belt kit and the air filter needs replacing as its seen better days.
Anyway, here it is-

Welcome Ash.
I may see why your belt is slipping off.
You have a Ford Taurus alternator on there and the Bracket needs to come out by the thickness of the bracket, towards the car.It may be sitting Crooked and throw your belt off.
Look at this thread and see if that is the problem, there is a pic of the bracket the guy Fabricated up.

Thanks for the heads up.
We don't get the Ford Taurus over here in the UK but maybe the same alternator from a different type of ford maybe?
I'll go and have a look in more detail in minute and see if there's any type of marking on it. It does have some washers that don't look like they are meant to be there on the bracket on the exhaust side.
