Make sure your window cleaner is amonia based...you can also try denatured alcohol.
Start at a corner.
Use some dish soap and #0000 steel wool to get all the glue/goo off the window. The steel wool will not scratch your glass.
Make sure you use new razor blades and don't feel like you can't use a few during the process.

once you remove the tint from the window with a razor blade be very careful if it the rear window because the rear defost put some peanut butter all over the window and take it off with a razor. this not a joke

Dude,
I've found it best to go to Home Depot, buy a heat gun (used to remove paint from wood). Typically they have 2 settings - 1500 watts and 750 watts. Use it on the OUTSIDE of the window you are working on (you get into some pretty odd positions, but its worth it). As the others have said, use a razor blade - get the most comfortable for your hand size. I use the steel retractable ones. Heat up the class from the OUTSIDE of the window, and you'll find there is an optimum temperature for the tint film to melt, but not fall apart, at - this aids greatly in scraping effort and effectiveness. Sometimes, it will peel off in small sheets if the temperature is right and the tint hasn't disintigrated. Be very thankful for those moments.![Smilie](https://www.rx7club.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
If you get hungry, eat the peanut butter. What the others have said about amonia, steel wool, and the glue is correct. Hope this helps.

take it to a good tint shop and have it retinted
that way they clean it off
make sure they can do it in one piece or goto to the next shop.
no pre cut crap it fades
just an idea cause if you don't know how to get it off then you shouldn't even try to tint it.
oh yea i forget the easiest way---- big hammer--hehe
