why hasn't anyone made a replica 99 wing
I am just curious why no one has made a fiberglass copy of the 99 style wing. I love that wing but can't see speding $900 on it. It would be really cool if someone made the sides fiberglass and the middle peice out of carbonfiber. I think there would be a big market for this sing in a less expensive version like around 400.
I know that racing beat makes one similar but I hate it.

Does anyone have pics of this wing from different angles. I'm trying to decided if I'm gonna get it for my silver 7 or not and the only pics I've seen are from straight behind the car...
I would hate to spend $900 and decide I don't like it when I see it from different angles for the first time.
Thanks!

I think that it could be made not ajustable just to keep the cost down. I personally think it is by far the best wing because it isn't ricey, but it does have some character.
Thatoneguy,
Let me know if you make one, I am sure you could get a group buy going. Maybe someone could talk to fastpac or the other company making replica stuff.

If this does turn into a group buy and someone makes a replica, count me in I love that wing but lets try to keep the price down. And if that means that its not adjustable I am fine with that. Someone should make a replica, I bet tons of people would buy it

'99 rear wing is pre-painted
If you take into consideration that it's adjustable and all the knockoffs aren't, plus it is prepainted factory color matched. It will cost you about $250 to have a copy painted and color matched, then the price doesn't seem as bad.

Go Racer,
I have to disagree with the paint part. There is no way that the 99 spec red will match my faded 93 so I would repaint it. I think I even saw on rx7 fashions web site that it wont match your paint perfectly. I would much rather it came in primer than painted.

The 99 spec wing is too expensive for me.. i ended up getting the mazdaspeed type 2 wing.. which looks similar to that, but a bit bigger.. Here's a pic of it..
EDIT: i got my mazdaspeed from a friend, so it cost me less than a 99 spec wing would..

My 99 spoiler is coming in a couple weeks. If I make a replica w/o it being adjustable, what angle would most people want to have for the spoiler?

I just mounted mine and the paint is a great match, I don't know how faded your car is but my 93 with 50K is a perfect match. Sorry no picture I just rebuilt my computer and have not loaded the camera floppy software yet.
