Cuz we have a lot of stock huggers on this forum. I personally see cars as artwork, and can be very expressive of your taste. Ppl knock on my car ALL the time on this forum, but I really don't care. Call it rice, call it nice, I like it. The stock body is very very nice, but it's simply too smooth and round. Not aggressive enough for my taste. That, and I think performance and exterior mods go hand in hand. Why do you think companies like RennTech, Strostek, Gambella, Lingenfelter, etc all have a healthy mix of performance and exterior mods?? Because form and function go hand in hand...

Burnout is by KS Auto. Maybe you have "KS" confused for "Knightsports," which coincidentally is often abbreviated as "KS" ? I don't think they're the same, but I have no solid info about that. The website doesn't say anything about it (that I can read )
I'll check it out. Thanks.

The RE-Amemiya '97 (i think, discontinued $15,000) widebody looks pretty nice in my opinion.

http://www.re-amemiya.co.jp/gallery/..._97_black.html

you can click on the side of the car to see the fenders etc. It's the only picture I can find online and the black color really hides the outline a bit. Too bad it's discontinued but for 15k I think you can custom fab something similar to it, maybe even CF...

^^That kit actually looks really good IMO. The fenders and bumpers just flow very nice with the car to me. I've always liked pretty much anything from RE-A. Great find.

My next bodykit will be the Burnout type. But the price of that is nowhere near 5K dollar. At least when I order it from Japan.

Are the fender pieces and sides skirts for both sides or is that individual. If its for both it comes up to $3150. Still expensive for a wide body but alot less than 5 g's. Then shipping is probably like 300-400.

jt-imports: I know that it isn't a "complete kit" of theirs, but the front fenders and and rear quarters are Amamiya's fender one off productions. I e-mailed them about this kit before, and any front bumper that fits the stock body lines will fit with this kit.

The kit comes with
* Front fender left and right
* Slit under fender
* Side step left and right
* Rear fender left and right

Anyone have more pics of the Border kit? I really like the smooth rear end of this kit.

i dont like widebody because most kits make it look like bolted on fenders over the existing(the fenders farther out than the doors leaving the big nasty gap), but flared on the other hand can look seriously sexy as long as its ot too drastic. FDs are already sexy, but flare the fenders a little and it looks really good, but stick a widebody kit on it and itll just ruin it with the boxy shape and big gaps byt he doors.

Well, here's my reason why most look like ***.....

Look at the stock FD body. It is one round clean shape with no edges. Almost everyone of those kits disrupts the original curves into something....well...ugly

I like how they added to the doors to make it flush with the rear of the Border kit. I just don't like the rear bumper all that much. Looks too bubbly to me. At one of the angles it kinda reminds me of the Supra. (I love the Supra, but I wouldn't want my RX7 to remind me of one)

Edit: just realized this thread is a few months old... OOPS
