Question Where can I find a RE-Amemiya replica front bumper?

does anyone know where i can find a replica of this front bumper? spending $1500 + shipping from japan is insane to me, anything under $600 shipped is reasonable, i might get flamed for this but it doesn't bother me, i just want to know where if its available

This is the only company that still "alleges" to make them: JKL Racing Engineering - FD3S FlexFiber SS1 Front Bumper

Unfortunately they have been well documented on this forum for scamming people. So you're taking a big chance with a good chunk of change if you decide to get one from them.

I e-mailed them about the bumper probably about a year ago. They responded and we had a back and forth conversation where they told me they had the bumper in stock and ready to send, but I never ended up pulling the trigger because of the previous people that had a bad experience.

I guess if you want to take the chance you can always get your money back through a paypal dispute, but it's still a risk.

I wonder if it's the fact that I have a local area code, which is the reason he won't answer my calls, since he can't really scam me lol

To their credit though, after all that body parts stuff happened on here, they continued to sell smaller parts like aluminum door handles for a pretty long time and they had good ratings on places like ebay.

Just because JKL doesn't rip off your money, there's are chance it won't ft right.

After a long drawn out group buy with him for the GTC bumper, it fits like $200 ebay special.

Not all, Shine makes some nice stuff that fits well. I've seen some Pettit and J-spec stuff that fits well. Some sanding and maybe some filling is expected but not having to cut off the edge in order to fill in a 1/4-inch gap where the bumper meets the fender.

Perfect fit was one of the reason the JKL group buy supposedly took so long and why we paid $600+. The test fits were shown fitting well with no modification. No answers to phone or e-mail when there's problem, I only wanted him to exchange the test bumper from his car that fit for the one I got.

At least I got something for my money where many others were left standing by this crook.

that's a long way from california, is there really no one else in the US that sells these? JKL doesn't count, i've tried contacting that guy 10+ times with the same run around..."it'll be ready next month"

Hey mate,

I have this bumper available in my catalogue. Do you mind to have to pick it at the nearest airport? In this case I think I can be able to ship it to you for 750 USD.

I also have the front CF canards for sale if you want them. Those could be put in the package for an extra 175 USD.

Let me know! info@Carbonrx-7.com
