what wheels are you burnout kdi type II guys running

I want the front and rear wider fenders and I have Work vs-ss wheels
fronts are 18x8.5 +45 offset
rears are 18x10 +45 offset

What wheels are you guys running with the burnout widebody kit? and will mine look ok or will I have to get different sizes?

I'm guessing you ment width and offset. I would like to know myself seeing that I'm also using the Shine rears and fenders.

The setup is actualy VERY flush. Sorry I don't have any pics on tap right now. I finished the car literally minutes before the transport came to pick it up for SEMA and simply haven't had a chance to take any myself. The car was shot for Max Power (UK Magazine) on Monday of last week and should be in print shortly. I'll be sure to take some shots of the car before sticking it into the container going to Japan for Tokyo Auto Salon and Osaka Auto Messe.

Thanks guys,

Nick

I'm with owen......I am trying to run the widest tires I can in the front/rear. Does anyone else have rims on there burnout kit yet?
Basically I want the widest rims w/ the deepest lip possible while still sitting flush with the burnout kit (dont we all, lol) So post those numbers please !

For a 19x10 +6 a 295/25/19 tire would be perfect but I cant find a company that even makes them. I plan on driving my car quite a bit and if anyone knows how this stretch look drives and handles, let us all know. I may go with a 255/30/19 or 265/30/19 & see how that works. wouldnt be much of a stretch then. you could also go with a 18x11 +20 offset and run 295/30's at least. But I want the 19"s out back. fronts will be 18x9 +6

I'm trying to figure out offsets for some Work VS-XX's.
18 x 10 275/30/18
18 x 12 335/30/18

No stretching for me, I need loads of GRIP.
anyone have a rough guess?

I am selling some work vs-ss but they are 18x8.5 +45 and 18x10 +45. with bf goodrich g-force kdw's 245/35 and 285/30. You cant run an 18x12 out back in the right offset you would need for inner clearance. It would stick out wider than any but the most custom of widebodies or that batmobile fd from japan. for your 18x12 you would need a +20 then the inside would be good but the outside would stick out more than half an inch more than the black fd posted on the first page.

no, you have to go to the Moon, (or Mars).

On the moon, I would go to Err and Ignignot. They can probably hook you up! just say you are from rx7club and you get a discount!!

A 275 or 285 is the ideal tire width for a 10" wide wheel. Do us a favor and STFU.
