Just out of curiosity, how much did it cost for the kit and installation?

For the 3000 for painting and fitting, does that include painting the whole car. Also after fitting does it affect the engine bay space or the exhaust spacing ( basically what i'm asking is would any exhaust fit with the body kit)

i believe any exhaust will fit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Q1bHbKAFQk
the 3000 i was quoted was only painting the exterior.
Dont forget to budget for wheels, you need 19x9 (-10) front and 19x12 (-34) rear.
wheels + tyres set me back around 7k U.S

Kit price was about the same as xeroes, no shipping, picked up local. xeroes got the deal on the paint and install, mine was around $10K paint and install.

My performance work was already done when the kit went on. Kit did not affect engine bay at all. No changes required, my Apexi GT exhaust matched up nicely as will the Apexi PS Revolution I am replacing the GT with.

I have Greddy Titanium exhaust, so fitment was stock placement...no problems unless you have apex'i it will be a problem.

About kit pricing also... 12k and yes customs was a pain for about 1 month.
These kits need work on fitment although, end results are stunning.

Anyone interested in my complete engine and setup? Going 20b......

Thanks Rotorheads

I was speaking for my setup which was the Apexi GT. I am switching to the Apexi PS Revolution and according to Apexi, this one fits the same as the GT.

This does look a little bit better without the wing. Just wish people would step out a little with the color scheme. And, no, I won't be getting the kit to do a radical color. The kit seems a little to much for me to put on a car and for the cost, I could think of many things I could spend that kind of money on. I am glad to see you guys doing it and giving us something different to look at.

I have seen dstrbdsht's car at Steve K's dyno tuning, it did look very exotic... while there I asked him if he got "Grief" from the cops, and he said No ! When I thought it over I figured, probably not, the car looks so radically different it looks like an import kit supercar, so they probably figure not to mess with it. From that perspective it's worth it to some extent, but I can imagine the kind of paranoia, over a scratch / someone cutting you off in an F150, one must have driving it around as well...

I must say one VERY nice car, for the work / effort.

Not 100% my taste in the end, and I wonder when / if we'll ever see some very poorly done knockoff's ?

I don't really like the fortune kit but that one ^^^ looks awesome!

For me it all depends on the paint, rim/tire fitment to make the fortune kit look good and Fortune Seven pulled it off really good compared to other fortune FDs
