i say go for it. It didn't look bad in he movie. There are alot of people on here that like to do the same mods, and keep the same stock bodied car. Personally, I'll be keeping mine stock on the outside for the most part. But hey, If you want to be differen't, at least this kit looks nice.

I already got a colour for it. Either black and white or blue and white. One or the other

lol, just to be clear with everyone who actually likes the colour orange....its too highlighted..you look like your a construction worker off duty with his uniform on. I am not going to make my car orange or highlighted for that matter.

I say GO FOR IT, its ur car ur money, UR THE ONE DRIVING IT. Who the hell cares about others. You're buying it to satisfy yourself, not for the pleasure of others. In my own opinion, other's have their likings. Some like their stock and mod their engines, some thinks that the FD is good enought the way it is and worked on the cosmatic. So do what you wanna do.

Yeah man, screw who doesn't want you to get the kit, including me

You're on the internet. Expect opinions. In a forum full of purists you'll get this response. Do what makes you happy, it's your car, just don't expect us to feel the same way you do.

sweet choice! i hate all the people here who say the veilside kit is a "ff3" kit... just because it was in a movie, everyone thinks thats why the want it..... retards!

i have about 3 different magazines of the veilside fd way before the damn movie came out, and i loved that damn car (it was dark red back then, not orange though).... if i had the money, and an fd, id get the same damn kit! just so long as you have the power to back up the looks... nothings worse than seeing a externally highly modified widebody car w/ a stock or slighly modded motor.... go all out, or go home

good luck with the build

Oh by the way...I get the feeling that a few of you think that the body kit was the only thing that I was going to put on my car. But I've already finished most of the interior such as steering wheel, bucket seats, roll cage,Diamond plate floors, aluminum door panels, the six point harness, and all the gauges(that im going to need anyway), (mostly all Sparco brand. Audio was all Kenwood.) after installing the bodykit I'm going for the perfomance

i loved that kit and how it looked but the price is just completely outrageous and ever since F&F 3 came out it just ruined the kit for me.

I still think its awesome and if you got the cash go for it but theres just something about it after it was in that flick that killed it for me

Seriously who cares about the god dam movie, its a movie everybody talks sooo much **** about everycar that was in it..The supra guys cry about the supra getting a bad rep because of it being in the F&F movies, the 240 guys cry that they cant get a POS 240 for $500 anymore and now it cost them $1000 to get a 240 because of the drift crazy from F&F 3 and the RX7 guys cry about the RX7's being in the movie, who cares its a movie get over it... How can a movie have so much impact on these comunitys, yes it will bring new people in to want to get into the cars that we love but lets not bring them down and pretend we are all high and mighty and say your stupid you watched F&F and now you want a jap car OMG WTF!! That sounds really grown up and profesional, how about help them out and steer them in a direction that is posistive.... I have a supra,240,MR2 and soon a FD i could care less about the dam movie..

Im sure if the FD in the movie had the burnout kit on it people would still talk **** about it..

Just my rant about the crying about the movie...

Its not to everybody just to the few that seem to have to bring it up in every thread..

Thanks
Josh

i love that body kit. i understand that people here think they are collector cars and to an extent they are, but you ought to do what you want. Every 69 camaro out there is a collector car and look at all the stupid stuff people do to those. If there was any way I could afford that body kit I would have it in a minute. the other thing that scares me is the cost of affixing that to the car. SOoooooo pricey. And I am far to lazy to do it myself. PLEASE PLEASE give us progress reports and a ton of pictures, I want to live vicariously through this experience. Take care, and good luck with it.

+1 for the kit. I dig it and also agree that it would look tight all black, or black and silver. If i had the extra money i would go for it. Good luck, and keep us updated!

I'll keep everyone updated when i get the kit....But dont get your hopes up to high on seeing pics soon though....because there are all these inspections...and regulations that it has to pass before shipment so it might take a while.but when i get it i'll be sure to take as many pictures as i can and post them

Well I just got an email from them asking me all these questions, and made me to scan a copy of my passport and send it to them...Well anyways getting to the point..What colour should it be (the bottom layer for sure is going to be black) the top layer i thought white or a light silver would do...but I just wanted to see other people's thought on it. Thanks.

I suggest the light silver, or keep the whole thing black. Def. NOT white!

Well....I pictured all black bodykit in my mind but.....to me the first thing that popped up in my head after i pictured black on black body...was batmobile in one of the older movies...and i just cant seem to picture a light silver bodykit

Does anyone actually know where to find a picture?of a silver and black body?
